Mr. Abdulla Poyil started his journey into the retail world at the age of 21. By the time he took over the reins of the Group in 1995, he was immaculately molded and trained by the wise business acumen of his father-in-law. His futuristic ideas helped him to grow both as a person and as a successful entrepreneur. His farsightedness not only made him the leading light of the Al Madina Group but also played a key role in modernizing the Group and making it one of the strongest retail giants in the region. It is his sheer perseverance, sincere efforts, devotion, and motivation to contribute his success to the society at large that has led to the Group’s skyrocketing accomplishments.
A visionary with strong ethics, a commitment to quality, and a man filled with empathy and respect; Mr. Abdulla Poyil strongly believes in serving the community and nurturing talent.
